Final “See Ya”

I can’t believe I have been in Lugansk a year and that it is time for ‘my rock’ to head back to the states.  Caroline has been my ‘person’ since I arrived in Lugansk with a broken computer.  I could not have survived the first month, let alone the past year, without her.  Thanks Caroline, for everything!  See ya on the flip side.

All the boys love Caroline…we all love her and will miss her is so many ways.

    

Yuri, as per the norm, arrived at my house with the idea of getting Caroline a going away gift.  I rolled my eyes at the time, but it turns out sometimes great things come under the pressure of time and train schedule.  He chose a great book that gave a history of the Lugansk Oblast in both Russian and English, and he signed the inside cover.  It was a sweet gift! And perfect for her.

   

More “see ya’s”…this is Alexey. Yuri’s BFF!

    

Thanks for all the great times, Caroline!  But I am already looking forward too many more in the coming years.
