How Quickly The Time Goes...

Can you believe that my Masters hooding ceremony was four days ago? How the time has passed so quickly. I still remember orientation and the first night of class. By the time I was into my second class I remember thinking that two years was a very long time. And yet, the time is already gone and I am moving onto the next things in life.

I met with and old professor a few days before graduation. She told me about an article she had written regarding her experience while receiving her doctorate and wanted me to read it. So, I am going to share some of her writings with all of you. She perfectly describes how I feel.

Purpose Produces Passion

“Earning my masters degree changed the way I think. I tackled mental changes that pushed me far beyond my comfort zone and acquired higher-level critical thinking skills. I looked at changes differently, bringing seemingly dichotomous concepts together to create new insights. It was a tremendous personal growth experience.”
