I actually mailed my medical and vision evaluation paperwork today. Sent it UPS Ground for about eight dollars. I easily could have sent it regular mail, but the risk for loss just is not worth the stress and money. I still have a last cleaning and have decided to have my last two wisdom teeth extracted before I submit my dental paperwork. The Peace Corps can clear me medically with a declaration that it is assumed I will clear my dental evaluation. This is good to know because the medical evaluation is the most concerning to me with my elevated BMI.
I cannot believe I am moving into the sit and wait stage with my Peace Corps service. It could take a few months before my medical paperwork is reviewed for clearance. The Peace Corps reviews submission based on departure date (May 2010) rather than date of submission.

Amy I love your blog. So exciting to hear all about you getting ready for the Peace Corp. Ok, so not the dental part, but everything else! Way to go girl!
