First task of the day is always the staff meeting and a bit of prep in the classrooms. This is our staff room for the next two weeks. Sometimes it is a bit crazy with all of us and other times it is an oasis of calmness. Luckily the room is plenty big and we all fit.
The kids are all broken into team for part of the camp activities. There are team dress up days and team challenges. Today I was with the yellow team as they designed their cheer, logo, and team poster. I am a judge, not a team leader, so everyday my team assignment changes. It is awesome to see all these kids working together and having such a great time together.
This afternoon we all spent time together outside. Because we have taken over a secondary school for camp, we have the opportunity to have both classroom time and outside time.
