I met up with another Peace Corps Volunteer, Janet, who lives in Odessa. And wow, did she take me to the coolest bazaar ever. Why is this one the coolest of all the bazaars in Ukraine? Because I found actual brown sugar…AND Shiracha…and this makes me happy. I am still searching for Settlers of Catan in Russian, but so impressed with my findings in Odessa.
So many spices…nothing indian related, but still found ground thyme…and sage…
And then Janet to me to the most amazing place for lunch/dinner. I had hummus, awesome hummus and fried chicken. The melt in your mouth and fall in love kind of fried chicken. It was amazing…
