And the preparations continue. Sara and Noelia are awesome at prep as long as they have all the tools. So they are working on lots and lots of apples for Apple Crisp, Caramel Apple Pie and Apple Dressing. My poor kitchen got quite the workout over the four day weekend.
The menu: Butternut Squash Bisque and Cranberry Soda Bread with Apple Crisp for dessert. Steven came early to help with the prep and I was so thankful.
Dinner was fantastic. People began arriving around 5P and we eat at 8P.
We even had candles thanks to my stepmom. She sent these great Christmas candle holders and they were perfect.
And as soon as we were done, we started a movie. Eileen brought over her projector and I hung a sheet over the window. We watched ‘Home Alone’.
Such a fabulous Christmas Eve…thanks to everyone who helped and came for dinner.
