My Great Aunt Irene died yesterday after a short illness. She was a spry 97 years old, besides her memory and her eyesight. About ten years ago, you lost your short term memory, but you never let it slow you down or get you down. That memory sure made for some interesting conversations, but I will miss you continued excitement to see me. I always felt loved and adored when I was with you, no matter your age, eyesight, or memory.
Although all of us still on earth will miss you , I’ll bet you are thrilled to be back with all your brothers and sisters, and all those families members who passed before you. Thanks for all the many memories in my life and making it so much better. I do not have a single childhood memory that doesn’t have you or Grandpa Lloyd in it. Thanks for all the love and patience.
The view at sunset from your house. Thanks so much for being my fabulous Aunt Irene.
I Love You!
