Yuri and I had the opportunity to spend a Sunday afternoon driving thru the Lugansk Oblast after helping , close friend and PCV, Sara Cooper move. I took the bus up to Svatovo, Sara’s old village on Friday and noticed that some of the sunflower fields were in bloom. So I asked Yuri to bring his ‘good’ camera when he came up to join us today to help Sara move. The day was beautiful. I am so thankful that Yuri supports my love of beautiful landscape and photography.
But before we came upon a great field of sunflowers Yuri pulled over at random and took this great picture of a wheat field. I love it!
The before…no blooms yet or a minimal amount. Last year I missed the season of the sunflowers blooming, so I was thrilled to capture them this year. I really enjoy sharing the before and after. These fields were only a short distance from each other, but we were lucky enough to get a fabulous example of both before and after. Truly breathtaking!
I have an overwhelming number of pictures of this field. It was stunning! Even makes a beautiful backdrop for a picture of our trusty steed (the car).
