New Friends & A Lake

It is time for Language Camp to begin.  Thankfully, Kyiv had a cool down today, so maybe sleeping will not be an issue.  At home I have two fans that keep me cool, but I cannot pack those around with me. LOL!

One of the best parts of Language Camp are all the peeps.  It is so great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.  We all seem to spend hours talking, in English.  We also attend language classes and learn something, but it is so fun to just be around PCV’s for a week.

Table is set and ready for the invasion.  This is lunch.  Sliced veggies, a pot of Borscht, juice and water…  The food was actually pretty ok at this training.

Ahhh, a lake and chill time.  There was something incredibly relaxing about the environment we in.  It was wonderful.  I swam everyday and really just loved to float.  After a year without a lot of water in my life, I loved just enjoying the water.  Blissful!

NATASHA!  This amazing Language Facilitator was the fearless leader of another cluster in my group.  My Language Facilitator got married and lives in Norway now.  I never see Maria anymore, nut Natasha has adopted me.  It is always great to see her at different trainings.

I was looking over the balcony of my room and look who I spotted.  Our Country Director, Doug. He found a place where he thought no one could see him and was checking his Blackberry. Made me laugh!
