My roommates for the week were awesome. Anne (the tall one) and I have been friends since before we came to Ukraine. She is from Corvallis Oregon, only a couple of hours from Portland, so we had met up a few times before coming over here. And she and I continued to be great friends. This entire experience has been wonderful to share with her. So, when we realized that we were both going to language refresher, we asked to be roommates. It was great to catch up and spend the week together.
So the third addition. Meet Katherine Axelsen. Katherine come in the group after Anne and I, and we had never met her before. And she is cool. Turns out she is also a member the SPA Committee, that I am a member of, so she and I will be spending all kinds of time together in the future. The three of us had a great weekend together.
And then there was the team. Go Tigers! I was their fearless leader and we had a great week together. I was fun to get to know so many new people and make new friends. There are a few of the I could have beat with a wet noodle during the week, but we survived and even enjoyed each other.
