KIVA…Check This Out!

The newly created Business and Social Enterprise Sub-Committee of the BEDWG has some exciting projects on the way and we need your help!

Serving in the Peace Corps here in Ukraine is giving us a unique opportunity to see how small businesses and entrepreneurs operate in this developing country. We quickly realize that there are so many smart, talented and hard working people that can really make a difference in how this country develops.

One of the first projects of the Business and Social Enterprise group is to show you an easy way you can help achieve that goal and make a difference in individual lives as well as help development in communities across Ukraine. We are looking to build our network of people willing to invest in Ukrainian entrepreneurs. As volunteers, we can leverage our networks to pool and streamline resources, helping volunteers make even more of a difference in Ukraine. In pooling our resources, we will be able to fund projects faster and pick specific projects that have a greater chance of repayment.

So, please come and join our team at http://www.kiva.org/team/be_a_better_bank.

Please share this with people in your social circles as we can only be successful with your help! If you are interested in getting involved in the Business and Social Enterprise Sub-Committee to work on projects like this, and help Ukrainian business owners contact me for more information.
