GLOW Camp In Snowy Svatovo…Day One!

Noelia, Andrea and I arrived from Lugansk yesterday.  We are in Svatovo to run a two day  GLOW Day Camp with fellow PCV Sara Cooper.  So, we are here to work, but it is great to be together.  I would love to work with these peeps every day.

We started the morning with fresh snow on the ground.  It did not last long, but it was interesting being that it was the end of April.  We quickly geared up for 45 teenage girls and were rolling pretty quickly.

My material for my Living Library portion.  We each spent 15 minutes talking about our home states and our families, thank goodness for all the photo albums and materials I packed with me to Ukraine.

If you were to draw your leader, what would he or she look like….

Andrea with some complete brainstorming regarding Human Rights.

There was art….

We made new friends.  I really spend time with kids and teenagers, so it was a blast to play with so really cool girls.

Several of the girls checking my Oregon material and family albums.

Thanks Sara and Yulia for all the hard work.  Everyone had a great time!
