I am having way too much fun with the 8 or so inches of snow we got last night. I made for a very interesting commute, but I love it. Really love it! I could even use 8 more inches tonight to make life perfect. Of course, Yuri would never get out of his driveway and the marshutka’s may stop running with that much snow, but it is so cool when there is so much of it.
This picture (left) is actually the driveway in front of my apartment building and the dark patches under the snow is actually ice, solid and slippery ice. Everything slides and spins, cars and people. And the other picture (right) is a building I pass everyday going to and from work. I love the colors of the building in comparison to the whiteness.
The snow piles high and the babushka's are out for a walk.
So beautiful!!
The commute is very interesting with all the snow, but I love it!
