Oddly enough, this day passes in a flash in Ukraine. Maybe because it is not widely celebrated in Ukraine. Maybe because I am a Peace Corps Volunteer and I have a million other things going on. Maybe because I am pretty sure that the flowers I sometimes get from my dad on Valentine’s Day will not be delivered in Ukraine. But for some reason, today seems like just another day.
I did however make two Valentine’s Day cards this year. I have collected to Valentine’s who are near and dear to me. Both for entirely differing reason, but both two of the coolest guys I know. And they save my butt on many occasions from some very interesting situations I can get myself into around here.
Thanks Yuri and Andrew for all you do for me! My life is a million times better because I have both of you! Even though you are both ALWAYS late to English Club. LOL!!!
