And this means I have a new bed. And it is AWESOME!!! I had recently been shopping for a new bed. Unsure of how to go about such a thing in Ukraine, I spread the word and asked for help. After a couple of weeks of looking and gaining an understanding of pricing and size, my mom and I found a great bed at Metro. I knew I wanted to use my Christmas monies from my mom for a new bed, so it was perfect that we were able to purchase it while she was visiting. And it is pure bliss!!!
My poor little apartment is a bit crowded, but I love it. And yup, I went with a queen size. It was not much more than a twin and I have only slept on a queen for the last 20 years, so I knew that a queen, although big for one person, would make for some ideal sleeping. And I love good sleep.
Even Hippo made the picture. Hippo is my nephew, Ryan’s, from when he was little (he has several). And he let me borrow one for my life in Ukraine. Hippo keeps me company every night.
