Ukraine is celebrating and they are celebrating BIG! During the past few days all the Community Development trainees were invited to attend a celebration at the theater for the 20th birthday of Ukraine.
The entire event and evening was amazing. The trainees were recognized, which was cool. It looks like we will be working with the city administration a bit while we are here, so wee appreciated such a grand gesture.
The theater it self was amazing. Check out the chandelier. One of the first performing groups was with blue and yellow drapes of cloth, Ukraine flag colors.
Again, just Ben and I. The clothes and music was incredible.
Both the adults and kids were lively and in a very entertaining mood. The little kids were adorable and stole the show.
I can’t believe I am so privileged to live in such a talented and historic country. It is an incredible experience.
Happy 20th Birthday, Ukraine. I am honored to be a active participant in such an incredible time in history.
