Well, I am all moved into mom’s. I cannot believe the time has come already. The move went smoothly and the couch made it back out the window. See the slide show on December 2009 for a demo on how we got the couch up to the second floor when I moved in 15 months ago. Good times! I have loved living in Dundee and Yamhill County, so much beautiful space.
And I have a had an awesome roommate. I was a bit nervous about having a roommate again after 10 years of living by myself. And I am usually not a big propionate of mixing personal life and work life, so living with someone I worked with made me very nervous. But I have had the greatest time. Melissa is awesome.
Several months ago, we had been out wandering on a Saturday. We took her car because it is so fun to drive and zip around town in. And it is much newer than mine. We were halfway from Wilsonville to Newberg and suddenly her car had no acceleration. Yup, it was not so fun. We called for a tow and made a few hours to kill. We called friends and family…and then we just entertained ourselves. The above picture was taken after the scared and worried in us had passed…and we were just enjoying a Saturday afternoon outside of our control.
I will miss Melis and her tinnie bean kitty, Lina Belle. But luckily her hometown is Denver, so we have many more fun times ahead of us in the years ahead.
