My packing will wait until about three days before I go. And it will be methodical. Everything will go into piles based on category and then packed in my luggage or packed in a suitcase for my mom to bring over when she visits next fall or for shipping over the summer. My mom is bringing over much of my bulky winter clothes during a visit next September. I have talked her into visiting twice, wahoo! The shipping box will have mostly kitchen stuff.
For right now everything is piled in the ‘red room’ at my mom’s house.
The shopping is almost done. I received my contact lenses yesterday, and besides a few leftover items I am almost done. I am sure some things will come up at the last minute, but I have been shopping and reorganizing my packing list for months now. This is one of the advantages of have six months notice of country and departure date.
