How am I ever going to be ready to go in nine weeks? I can’t believe I am down to single digits. Every week means more packing, more shopping, and more answers, but WOW.
I have adjusted my packing list almost every day this week, both adding and taking away. Today I finally ordered boots. I was really at a loss about boots, but I really wanted to find them and not have to deal with it in the Ukraine. I have calves that measure 18 and a half inch’s and I was nervous that the Ukraine would not have such a size or they would be difficult to find. Thanks to other volunteers currently serving in the Ukraine for the great suggestion of these Merrill’s. I ended up with these.
I owe a big thank you to all of those volunteers who have gone before me and documented their experiences so well.

I keep forgetting to comment, my sister lives in the Ukraine, in kiev. Her husband works for the Embassy and the will live there until May-ish when they will move to their next assignment. Maybe you will run into them there... Good Luck, BTW I am sure you will be great.
