Another email from Placement

This is the response I received from the Placement Office. I am still trying to not ready too much into the message, while reading enough.

I understand that you might be eager to receive more information from the Peace Corps at this point, and I greatly appreciate your patience. In the meantime, you can prepare for Peace Corps service and make your application more competitive by continuing to gain experience through working or volunteering in the assignment area to which you were nominated. Applying to the Peace Corps has always been a competitive process, but in a time of increasing applications and rising costs, it’s more competitive than ever. It is important to note that applicants with higher technical and language skills are more likely to be placed.

And my response...

Yickes. In other words I should take a class in the language I want to serve in. Thankfully I have faith that I am a competitive applicant with a MBA, a high level of computer skills, and working for a non-profit. I have worked hard to get to this place in life and with the Peace Corps, but I know my language skills are lacking.

Thanks for the advice. I will see what I can do.

So, I will wait another week or so before I register for a language class. What language? Well I havent quite decided yet.
