Aunt Amy, its my birthday today

Yes, my first and very early call of the day today was from the most adorable five year old.  Ryan first stated that today is his birthday and then preceded to ask me what got him for his party at Bellevue Park later that day.  It was awesome!!  And so cute!!!

Well, as I am actually headed to Denver in six days and bringing RyRy’s present with me, I preceded to try to explain that I would be there in six days and have his present for him at his birthday party on July 10th.  Ryan was convinced that six days was too long to wait for his birthday present and my pending visit.  I distracted him with talk of camping when I am in Colorado and that I would be camping with he and Aunt Sadie.  Suddenly he was really excited to have a birthday AND go camping with Aunt Amy and Aunt Sadie.

That kid makes me laugh, but seriously, five years old, where does the time go?
