Cool...Just Very Cool...

I work at an aviation and space museum in the Portland area. We get more than a few interesting people and today was no exception. The difference today was that this guy was very cool for me to converse, but not all would get the same out of the conversation. His name is Steven Wisecarver and he is the Country Director of Kenya for the Peace Corps. WOW!!

After my constant state of confusion during the past few days I had been wondering how I was going to come to terms with all the conversations in my head…and then this guy landed on my doorstep today. Turns out his uncle is a volunteer at the museum. And I was thrilled to have such an opportunity. After debating whether to introduce myself or not, I just did it. So worth it!

Of course, still awaiting the medical clearance, but for the first time in months I am really excited to have such an opportunity. My introduction and conversation with Steve could not have come at a better time for me.
