I am doing something totally different from the norm in life and I am spending the holidays with close friends. I am in Utah to celebrate Christmas with someone from my “friend family”. Gusti Rogers Darling and I have been friends since our senior of high school and she is definitely counted as one of my closest friends in my adult life. I love you girl!!!
Kira, her ten-year old, is credited with the invite for me to spend Christmas in Utah with the Darling family. Thanks Kira!!! I am so lucky to have such an opportunity and to be a guest at Christmas. Ahh, I can feel the relaxation seeping into my soul as I write this. I will have five wonderful days in Salt Lake and my list of friends to see has grown. I really need to go more often. I have so many fantastic friends in Utah whom I rarely see. Out of sight, but definitely not out of mind…I miss all of you.
Christmas Agenda. What agenda? I have no idea, besides sledding, making Stollen and taking some studio graduation outfit photos my time is happily not my own, all decisions are being made by Gusti and I couldn’t be more excited. I have packed clothes for all occasions and my stocking has made the trip so Santa Claus can find me.
I am looking forward to a few relaxing days and snow. It does not look like Utah is in for a white Christmas, but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Tomorrow night is Temple Square. I can’t wait. Shore Acres and Temple Square cannot be rivaled during the holidays. They are gorgeous.
