My Poor Tomato Plant

Admittedly I am not a green thumb by any means. Sometimes I have great luck with plants, either indoor or outdoor. And sometimes just kill things. Currently my success rate for indoor plants is one living for every one dead… :) Seems really funny now, but when I came home from my trip to Colorado my tomato plant looked hilarious.

This is my first summer with a sprinkler system, so no, I have not set up my annuals to a drip system. That will come next year. I did however move my pots into areas of the lawn in which they would be watered by the sprinkler system while I was gone. You will notice that the grass is a lush green, the basil is tall, and the thyme is full and healthy.

And then there is the poor tomato plant. Oops!!!
