The Holiday Cooking Begins

I seem to have been talked into hosting Thanksgiving this year. And my friend, Courtney, who talked me into such a thing had to cancel at the last minute. She had a great reason with the need to retrieve her new visa for a Russia trip in December, but she is hilarious with the cancelling.

With or without Courtney, the show must go on, so today was day one of cooking. I am a few days ahead of schedule, but I have a quick trip to Kyiv between today and Thursday, so today was it for some prep cooking.
