One of my favorite things to do with a bit of free time and when I am in Kyiv is visit my host mom and her sister in Chernihiv. I had about 8 hours to kill in Kyiv today and so a visit was scheduled. It was fabulous. Tanya and Leda are so fun to talk to, and neither speak English, so I am forced to use the Russian language skills. We eat, we chatted, we laughed...it was a great day.
