Today had me taking a quick trip to Kyiv to see goodbye to a dear friend. Seriously, 32 hours on a train and ten hours in Kyiv. That is love! I finally had time in the Peace Corps office to just hang out, so I took some pictures and wanted to share for those who are curious. Sometimes I feel like this building is my second home.
And then came the time for one last beer and to say goodbye. Pete and I have become quite close...and I know he is out there still, but it will be weird not having him in the same time zone for a while. Well, even in the USA we will have timezones that separate use.
Some of the train stations in Ukraine are a thing of beauty and the Kyiv Central Station is no exception. And here is my Lugansk train...it says LUGAN on the side...
