I have spent much of the last couple of years never quite sure what I was asked to, would be doing, or if I was presenting off the cuff. Today was no exception.
First up was getting coffee. Six of us were picked up at 7A this morning and by 830 we were all in desperate need of coffee. Most places have these instant coffee machines and they are very popular and actually not so bad.
And then there was the PDM training. Turns out I was there as an advisor. It was amazing! It is the place every Peace Corps Volunteer wants to get to. Marina, in the blue with white poke-a-dot shirt, is a great story. She was in my first PDM training almost exactly two years ago. She has since conducted projects, written grants, been awarded grants, and attended more PDM trainings. Simply amazing!
I spent much of time making notes as people came up with project ideas, assisting with focusing those ideas...basically sharing my thoughts and insights...all in another language with a translator.
Today was a full another fabulous full circle day for me.
