I cannot believe the time has come to say goodbye to the Peace Corps group who arrived into Ukraine six months before my group. I have watched groups leave every six months since I arrived , but this was the hardest and the most ‘wow’ like. I had many people in this group I had become close to and I will miss having them nearby as I move through my life. And it means that my group has six months until are time is up. Seems surreal and so fast.
Collette, Rocky and Dara… Dara lived not far from me and I will greatly miss having her be a part of our girls weekends in Lugansk.
And we are all staying here for now. Two Americans and a Ukrainian. Jessica is from Group 42 and was my partner for SPA grants during this round.
