The idea of river fun was just too tempting today. It rained as we headed toward the river, and was not what I would call warm, but we all went anyway.
Cluster Love! Sara, Noelia and I all trained together a year ago and always have a good time when we get together. This weekend was no exception.
And then the idea of jumping became a thing. This is the third round. I have pictures from all the rounds, but the antics got better with every jumping effort.
That would be Pete…upside down. And Andrea with her perfect form. Kudos to both of them, I love to swim, but you would not catch me doing either one of such things from a pier.
Next up was Noelia. OH GOODNESS! Halfway down she tried to change her mind about diving…and yes the resulting impact was loud and hilarious. Poor NoeyP! She wins the award for funniest, craziest memory of the entire weekend. And then there was Sara. I love this picture because she just looks like she is out for an afternoon stroll, OFF A PIER….
And the four survived. Sometimes it is hard for Pete to have to be surrounded by beautiful women in swimsuits, but he endures with a smile. Good Man!
OH, so we are back to serious and then shocked in a moments notice. Here is the Patrick and Sara result.
And Patrick and Noelia…NoeyP can’t help but laugh! Love It!
Andrea and I being equally as ridiculous….
I would argue the beer tents are the best thing about summers in Ukraine. And when you add a river, it is suddenly magical. After a day at the river this is where we ended our day. It is a hard setting to beat, especially after such a great day.
And really at the end of the day. We just love being together. We make an effort to come together and keep in touch, and we have all become great friends. I knew I would find and make great friends during my Peace Corps service, but these people are beyond my wildest dreams. I treasure all these moment.
Love you guys! Thanks for another epic weekend.
