I used to have adventurous Sunday’s when I was in training. Now I seem to have adventurous weekends!!! And this weekend was no exception. I had a blast!!
I began my weekend two nights ago when I boarded a very old train car to Dnepropetrovsk. I had not been on a car that old since I have been in Ukraine and it was a whole new experience. One I would prefer to not repeat. I had the hardest bed and was so cold. Thank goodness for the wool blanket or I would have had even less fun!!! And I was really looking forward to the weekend, so I was pumped with pure excitement.
Ahh…water!! I miss water and having a river in my city. A big river. I have lived around water my whole life, so living in a land locked city without much water, makes me appreciate the water and rivers so much more.
Really great architecture and a great photographer makes for a beautiful picture. Thanks Chris!! Many of the photos in this blog post are his. When traveling with someone who is so good with a camera, means that my camera did not get much use.
Ahhh, this carousel made me happy!!!
The train station…love the wide angle Chris can get…
So European…love it!!!
A few PCV’s before game time. It was so great to get together and see people I had not seen in months…and meet new peeps. Seriously, great weekend!!!
Ah, Amy/Chris love right here…thanks for the photo bomb Sam!!! Such a great group!!!
Christina and I wanted not one picture together, but two!! This girl is from Bend and a Duck Fan!!! SO fun to have another Duck Fan in my midst…
I needed a new and Europeanisk photo for my vKontakte account, so I had Chris take some pics of me….looking all winter like. They are great and so fun!!! Thanks Chris!!!
Game time!!! Yep, my first and many European League Football games. Dnipro won…and we all had a blast. I have no idea who the guy is the photo, but he and I had a great time dancing during halftime.
Representing!!!!
See all those flag waving fans….they were nuts!! And fun to watch… And finally, a Sam/Amy pic!!!
I am pretty sure that Caroline and Patrick had a good time at the game…and I have the picture to proof…or Tondraya does. Thanks for the pic Tondraya….
Yep, still in love with the wide angle lens. The stadium is amazing!!!
Eventually, the night and weekend had to come to a close. But WOW!!! we all had a fabulous time. Many thanks to Chris and Tondraya for sharing your photos so I would have something for my blog…
