I arrived in Kyiv not feeling so great, so Mom and I spent our first afternoon and evening in Kyiv doing some sleeping and wandering. It was really great to just relax and have some non-Peace Corps time in Kyiv. I am getting to know the city more and more.
Khreshchatyk Boulevard in the very center of Kyiv is beautiful in the evening light.
Ahhh, the traffic. It looks like Portland at 5P.
Shevchenko Park is crazy long, but a great evening walk.
And this is how we end the day…with a movie. Tiny computer screen, but so comfy in pj’s…
