Sara and Kristen, two fellow PCV's, ventured into Lugansk for the weekend. Well they were actually here for 36 hours and they actually came with the intention of canning. We never did get to that activity. We played instead. And had a fabulous time.
They both arrived on Saturday AM and the first thing we did was help Caroline with a cooking class for some English students of Kayta's. It was a blast.
Next activity: English Club. I have really enjoyed the English Club through the Windows on America program in Lugansk. There are about 25 people who attend every week and I was excited for Sara and Kristen to meet some of my new friends.
Next activity: Dinner, Pregame at my apartment, and a disco tech(night club). Thankfully we a great escort in Vlad and us girls could just let loose. We danced and moved to our hearts content. We all paid a stiff price in the morning, but we could do the same thing every Saturday given the option. We had a GREAT time! Thanks for everything Vlad. You made our night fabulous!!
It was a weekend for the record books and we are all looking forward to many more to come in the next two years.
