So, Peace Corps volunteers who arrived into Ukraine in March of 2009 are getting ready to depart to the USA. And I had a great opportunity to meet Lindsey today. Lindsey and I have shared the same host mom and family during training, and she came to say good-bye today.

Lindsey is also a Community Development volunteer and it was great to chat with her tonight for a bit. She had some great tips and information. This crazy girl got married in Seattle in the middle of her service and is now moving to Germany with her husband who has been in Afghanistan for the last year. You know, if your husband is going to deploy for a year, why not join the Peace Corps. What a fabulous idea!
