The best coffee…and a cold…and a project…

I, like most Peace Corps trainees, have a cold.  No, we are not all sick, but usually during service we all get a cold.  Our minds and bodies are pushed and stressed in ways that equal exhaustion and a cold just seems to be the result.  Mine has not  been as bad as some, but it seems to have settled in my head permanently.  And with the cold comes a less active week, so the camera is pretty empty.
As I have worked to recover from this nasty thing, I have been drinking a ton of hot tea and found this awesome new drink.  It is much like a mocha latte in the states and here it is called a latte macchiato.  Yup, I just had to take a picture.

And the first draft of our project proposal is due today.  I still do not believe that ours is exactly what the Peace Corps is looking for, but do you have any idea how many roles are associated with Peace Corps projects.  Yickes!  And thankfully it was only a draft.  The final product is due in a week.
Tomorrow is Ukraine’s version of Europe Day, and it is a big deal.  We will be spending most of the day in the city center joining in on all the celebrations.  May is a month of holidays and celebration for the Ukrainian people.  It has been fun to share in all these celebrations.
