Today was the day I said goodbye to my car. Zeke and I had been together for eight years and he did me right. It makes me a little bit sad to see him go, but he went to a good family who will enjoy him like I have. Thank you, Zeke.
And Rachel got married today. I hardly ever see the girl anymore, but it was great to see her and catch up with old friends. She and I got our undergrad together, and I have so many great memories of our friendship. She and her new husband will be headed to Africa in the coming year as missionaries. I love that we all seem to go in such differing directions and yet the closeness remains. She is my “one of the girls” pack and Daniel is lucky to have her full time.
And before the wedding, so of us old school Warner Pacific alumni got together for dinner. Thank goodness Tomas and Sara brought their adorable three year old, Ava, she was highly entertaining. Hugs, Ava style, all around.
