I had the tremendous honor of being a guest of Gusti and her family for Christmas this year. I loved the late night (early morning) conversations. Gusti is one of the few friends one comes across in life who loves unconditionally and never judges, therefore she is one of those people in my life I really enjoy talking to and sharing my life with. I loved the sledding only two blocks from home. I loved the cooking. Gusti is much like me with guests in that ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ is just a part of any visit.
One of my Christmas presents from Gusti was a photo shoot. When we finally got around to it, the weather was clear, sunny and 15 degrees. I had carried my graduation regalia to Utah for this purpose, not expecting the present, but needing some decent graduation pictures. Gusti told me to prepare two outfits, graduation and a wintery one. Kali and Gusti scouted locations while I sat in the car to avoid a pick nose and pink cheeks.
Here are the best of the bunch. Kali and love number three and Gusti’s favorite is number four. I wasn’t really into number four, but it has grown on me. I have the perfect eighties hair, too bad I discovered it 20 years later. Gusti loves it and it drives me crazy, so she was very much in love with the big hair picture. I love the third one because Gusti worked magic and I haven’t looked this good in a full body shot, EVER. The girl has got some wicked skills.
