Internship Update

Today was an interesting day.

I received a call from the background investigator with ‘Adagio’ yesterday. He was looking for clarification of my handwriting over the 18 pages of information I had sent in late last week. Poor guy, my handwriting became more and more atrocious as I continued through the paper work. He informed me that someone would be calling to schedule my drug test.

Fifteen minutes later, the phone rings. It is the schedule person for my drug test. I was asked to come into the facility anytime before 2P today. I arrived at 11A and the background investigator asked to meet with me before I headed down to the hospital for my drug test. The guy was very cool, but he leaves no stone unturned. He was great to talk to, but I got the feeling he gets a rise out of finding the ‘bad’ in a person background check.

Drug test was weird. I cannot even remember when I last had a drug test. Friends told me to watch the poppy seed intake. A drug test for me seems almost funny. I have yet in my life to even try illegal substances, let alone fail a drug test.

Between any dirt on my background check and a drug test, maybe these people will find cool stuff that makes my life history more interesting than I think it is. :)
