Today is my magic number day. I have been offered a nomination for the Caucasus Region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. So far my mom is the only person who knew where it was without pulling out a map. I was clueless. And now I am fascinated.
My job assignment is Advanced Business Development. I am thrilled with the volunteer job opportunity. The Causasus Region is mostly made of countries who were previously a part of the Soviet Union. This means that they are all relatively new to the free trade market.
My departure is seemingly forever away. And so many things could happen to defer me from going between now and then, but I am slated to leave May of 2010.
I will let you all know when I have my formal nomination in hand.
